In a minute

A small window does the job.

01

Start the translator

Open the iPhone app, pick the language pair, and start the guided screen broadcast.

02

Keep using your app

The translation window floats above games, comics, shopping apps, social feeds, streams, and browsers.

03

Move it when needed

Drag the window out of the way, resize it, and keep the original screen visible underneath.

Why it feels faster

Translation without breaking your place.

Most phone translation workflows make you leave the thing you were trying to understand. ScreenFloat keeps the source visible and turns the translated result into a movable layer.

No screenshot loop

You avoid capture, switch, translate, switch back, repeat.

Built for app screens

Short labels, dense menus, and cropped captions are treated as first-class inputs.

Private by default

Screen content is handled locally when supported, with optional cloud translation only when needed.

Works across sources

It does not depend on whether a specific app ships its own translation feature.

Where it helps

Built for the places where built-in translate gives up.

Raw manga

Read panels before the official translation lands, without exporting every page to another app.

Imported games

Check menus, quest text, event banners, and dialogue while the game stays open.

Shopping abroad

Compare size charts, coupons, shipping notes, and product photos on marketplaces.

Short videos

Follow captions and comments on clips where the built-in translate button is missing.

Travel apps

Use maps, rides, kiosks, and local booking apps when the English mode is incomplete.

Language study

Keep original text in view while using quick translations as reading support.

A cleaner workflow

Stay in context from the first tap.

The point is not to translate every word perfectly. It is to keep you moving when a menu, caption, listing, or comic panel blocks the next decision.

Old way

Screenshot -> open translator -> crop -> read -> return

ScreenFloat

Start once -> keep app open -> move the translation window

Questions

Short answers before you install.

Is this a keyboard or Safari extension?

No. It is an iPhone app that uses a user-started screen broadcast and Picture-in-Picture style window.

Can it translate inside any app?

It is designed for visible text on screen, so it can help across many apps. Very small, animated, or stylized text can still be harder to read.

Does it record my screen?

The broadcast is used to read visible text for translation. The app is designed not to store screen content on our servers.

Do I need an account?

No account is required to try the core flow. Subscription options, if shown in the app, are managed by Apple.

Try it on the next screen that gets in your way

Put translation on top of the app, not instead of it.
